The wine is a deep red colour with plums, cranberries and spicy cinnamon oak aromas on the nose. These flavours continue on the palate, which also shows an abundance of cherries and blackberry fruit flavours. Soft tannins and smoky oak provide balance and extra flavour dimensions. The palate is medium bodied, soft and approachable. Serve at 16-18°. This wine would be well suited to beef Wellington or shepherds pie. It is released for current drinking.
